Evicron built for SBD go, a courier and express transport company in the Barcelona area, a custom transport management platform that replaced two portals from an external vendor — the traffic board and the driver app — with a single real-time system: traffic, drivers, delivery notes, DeCA, invoicing and client portal, built on an API of its own and ready to connect to AI agents.
The challenge
SBD go handles more than a hundred jobs a day with a fleet of dozens of vehicles. Operations depended on two tools from an external vendor that did not talk to each other well, with duplicated data, no integration options and no way to adapt them to the company’s real process. On top of that came a legal obligation with a date attached: from 5 October 2026, the DeCA, the road-freight control document that is no longer valid on paper.
The solution
We built the platform from scratch with Next.js, React and TypeScript on Supabase (PostgreSQL with PostGIS for the geographic side), deployed on Vercel, with one design rule: the admin panel, the driver app and any AI agent are all clients of the same API.
- Operations centre: drag-and-drop assignment board with one column per vehicle, live map with each driver’s latest position and messages to vehicles.
- Jobs and delivery notes: pickup and delivery addresses with Google Maps autocomplete and a per-client address book, goods per stop, a pricing engine per service type (base, kilometres, addresses, waiting time, hours) and delivery notes continuing the company’s historical numbering, emailed as PDF on validation.
- Driver app (PWA): login by truck code, day and month views grouped by job, arrival, pickup and delivery per stop, photo and signature with the recipient’s ID, job creation from the phone and foreground GPS.
- DeCA with QR code on every job: native PDF with a public URL inspectors can open without a password, generated before the job starts and archived for the legal period.
- Invoicing: delivery notes generated from completed jobs, invoices from delivery notes or from scratch, configurable series and payment terms, fuel surcharge per delivery note and email delivery.
- Client portal: each client checks their jobs, delivery notes and invoices, requests jobs and quotes and receives push notifications; one person can manage several client accounts.
- AI connector: REST API with scoped keys, signed webhooks on status changes and an MCP server with tools to query and create data from an agent.
Migration and go-live
We imported the ~900 clients, the price lists and the 37 drivers from the previous vendor’s files, with importers tolerant of European number formats and Spanish headers, and kept the delivery-note numbering series so the switch was invisible to SBD go’s customers. The company has used the platform daily since August 2026; the DeCA and the client portal arrived in later iterations, ahead of the 5 October legal deadline.
It is the kind of project we describe under custom software for logistics and transport, and the base on which we later built the system for Transportes Guerrero 2015. Frequently asked questions
What is the SBD go platform? +
SBD go is the transport management platform Evicron built from scratch for a courier and express transport company near Barcelona: a traffic board with a live map, a driver app, digital delivery notes with photo and signature, the DeCA with a QR code, invoicing and a client portal, all on an API of its own.
How does SBD go generate the DeCA? +
The DeCA (Spain's electronic administrative control document for road freight, mandatory since 5 October 2026) is created automatically with every job: a native PDF with a QR code pointing to a public URL that opens without a password, listing shipper, carrier, origin, destination, vehicle plate and goods. The driver carries it on their phone and it is archived with the job for the legal retention period.
What does the driver app do? +
Each driver logs in with their truck code, sees the day's and month's jobs, marks arrival, pickup and delivery, uploads photos and captures the recipient's signature and ID, and can create jobs from the phone. GPS position is sent to the traffic board while the app is open. It is a PWA: installed from the browser, no app stores.
Can the platform connect to an AI agent? +
Yes. Evicron designed it API-first: a REST API with scoped API keys, outbound webhooks on every status change and an MCP server so an AI agent can query jobs, clients and vehicles or create jobs, under the same permissions as a human user.
